Moulding Gauge Set

Finding the arcs of moulding profiles can be inaccurate or difficult. Circle templates are cumbersome and need to be folded. Metal gauges threaten wood. Measurements often need to be made upon the contoured surface, especially if the profile’s cross-section is inaccessible. Sometimes it’s simply not available (e. g. Picture frames, architectural profiles, etc.).

This Gauge set will assist you in determining the radius of various arcs included in your mouldings. When you know the radius, you will then know which plane to use.

This set of gauges is equivalent to my standard half set of hollows and rounds. They are equally comprehensive to my half set of hollows and rounds, which means they’ll (likely) get you what you need.
